We will then set up a Zoom call, and you will be able to see the pups as they play and interact with people. I can make recommendations based on their personalities and answer questions as you select your puppy.

· I relocated to Rapid City, South Dakota in 2022 from western New York. I’ll be advertising locally and in the New York/New England area, as many of my clients are based there.
· General shipping is available at the buyer’s expense.
Note, I am considering a trip back to New York in mid-January (around the time pups will be ready). If that happens, I may be able to deliver pups for pick-up in Wayland, New York, shipping fees apply.
Puppy Training - Preparing to Welcome Your Pup
To give you and your pup the best start, we require all new families to complete puppy obedience classes once their pup is home. This important step builds a strong foundation for training, bonding, and lifelong success.
Please keep in mind that families are responsible for the cost of these classes, so we encourage you to plan for this important part of your puppy’s development.

Dam: Oh, Dani Girl
Owned by Laura (Lu) Schmieder of LuLu Ridge Pups, Rapid City, South Dakota
Dani’s story is deeply personal. Lu purchased her in 2017 from a family friend’s litter after the loss of her beloved chocolate Lab. Having known Dani’s parents and grandparents for years, Lu had witnessed the intelligence, temperament, and overall quality these dogs consistently passed down. When the opportunity came to welcome Dani, she knew without a doubt that this was the right dog for her.
Just one year later, in 2018, Lu was in a serious car accident. Dani became her constant companion during a very long, multi-year recovery that followed. Always by her side, Dani proved to be incredibly intuitive ̶ using her eyes to communicate, offering comfort, and often anticipating Lu’s needs before she spoke them. She traveled across the country with Lu to appointments with specialists, and during that time was public-access trained so she could provide support wherever they went.
Dani is equal parts playful and cuddly, with a gentle personality that makes her wonderful with children, other dogs, and families alike. Her pups have inherited her intelligence, intuition, and versatility ̶ thriving as beloved family pets, skilled hunters, and dependable service dogs.
While Dani is not currently AKC registered due to missing paperwork from her grandfather, she has been DNA tested (100% purebred), microchipped, and OFA tested for hips and elbows.
Lu is actively working to track down the breeder for her grandfather’s papers in hopes of completing her registration.
We are so excited to share the offspring of these two incredible dogs with you, and we hope your new pup brings as much joy to your family as Dani and Ozzie have brought to ours.
We look forward to welcoming you to the LuLu Ridge family!
